Billy Ray Cyrus Remembers This Beautiful Miley Cyrus Memory Despite Rift

Billy Ray Cyrus and Miley Cyrus spent years on the ‘Hannah Montana’ set giving us one of the best father-daughter relationships we’ve ever seen on TV, but these days, their relationship is almost non-existent.

This was evident when Miley won her first Grammy Award for her hit song “Flowers” and snubbed her father during her acceptance speech.

Billy Ray Cyrus, 62, is incredibly proud of his daughter Miley for the strength and the resilience she shows in the face of every obstacle.

Billy and Miley had a huge falling out when the “Words by Heart” singer divorced Miley’s mom Tish Cyrus. Their relationship rift is said to be so bad Miley doesn’t even have any kind of relationship with her father’s new wife, Firerose.

Despite this, the “Words by Heart” singer called a memory he enjoyed with Miley when she was a baby “one of my best memories ever.”

The post, shared on Instagram on June 7, featured pictures of him and Miley when she was just a baby, alongside a poem he had written called “The Moment.”

The post was set to Miley’s record-breaking song “Flowers.” Billy used the caption to share the sweet details behind the snap.

He wrote: “One of my best memories ever: @cma Fest, back when it was Fan Fair. That’s @mileycyrus and me, surrounded by thousands of incredible fans at the fairgrounds. The next day, someone handed me this picture, and I wrote that poem right then on the bus.”

Praising her fearlessness and dedication to her craft, he added, “I’m incredibly proud of her. She’s a survivor and a true artist. She learned early on to love and appreciate the fans who make everything possible.”

He further highlighted what he and his daughter have in common, besides being bestselling musicians and highly rated actors. “We both cherish the connection we have with our fans and are grateful for every single one of you! Hope you all have a great Friday! Now rock the country!!!” he concluded.

According to a source, Billy’s tried his best to mend the rift between him and Miley. “He’s tried reaching out to Miley many times and congratulated her on her Grammys,” the source claimed in February. “Miley and Billy Ray are on the outs. Miley’s very close with her mom and is standing by her.”

Perhaps this shout-out may thaw out some frosty emotions.
