Two months ago, in June, it was announced that the case has been settled, and, guess what guys, we found out about their settlement through the court clerk. The settlement was quite unexpected because, the case was still on until the trial date when the two settled was on the day the trial was supposed to have begun. Jurors that came to court that day had no idea that Rob and Chyna has settled, they had no choice but to go back home.

Blac Chyna — About The Settlement

On Friday, the motion to end/close the revenge porn suit was filed in the Superior Court of Los Angeles, California. This will stop Chyna from filing any lawsuit concerning this matter ever again.

When the news of the agreement to settle first broke two months ago, the terms of the agreement were a mystery but there were speculations that Chyna might have agreed with Rob to end the case due to Chyna’s inability to pay for the legal fees the Kardashians were demanding that she pay them. (That was the first speculation).

Another reason which seems to be the main reason is that a lawsuit was filed against Chyna by her ex-boyfriend Justin C. Jones. Justin sued Chyna for publicizing what was meant to be private, the lawsuit was for “public disclosure of private facts” and “intentional infliction of emotional distress.” So, in the motion filed, Rob Kardashian claimed that Blac Chyna said she would drop her lawsuit if he helped her get out of the lawsuit filed against her by Justin C. Jones.

Blac Chyna — About The Legal Dues The Kardashians Asked Chyna To Pay

The Kardashians asked Blac Chyna to pay for their legal fees of over $390K due to the verdict passed by the judge during the defamation trial in which Chyna sued the Kardashians; Kris Jenner, Kim Kardashian, Khloe Kardashian, and Kylie Jenner for conspiring to cancel her Rob and Chyna Reality TV Show just to spite her for breaking up with their brother. Chyna lost the lawsuit thereby liable for the Kardashian’s legal fees. Part of the judge’s decision when he ruled in favor of the Kardashian family was that Chyna would be liable for the Kardashians’ legal fees.

Due to the verdict, Chyna’s mom Tokyo Toni went on to launch a GoFundMe in the hopes of raising $400,000.
