Black Adam Has Been Rated As The Worst DCEU Movie Ever

Here’s to critics who think that the DC Extended Universe raised their hopes so high with the amazing trailer of Black Adam (played by Dwayne Johnson) only for the movie to come out and…it wasn’t worth the hype. Not everyone saw it that way.

Anyway, the issue here is not just about the hype about the movie, it seems that the critics were expecting Teth Adam to be a superhero instead of the supervillain that he has always been. They didn’t expect to see a super angry Teth fighting with other superheroes from the Justice Society of America (JSA).

There are actually a lot of points that critics made on social media regarding the movie Black Adam and why it is the worst superhero movie ever. Below are some of them.

Black Adam — The Things That Contributed To The Poor Rating Of Black Adam

Viewers believe that the slow motions in the movie are numerous. Granted, Zack Snyder has always added slow motions in the previous DC movies he directed, but, this is not the case as Zack didn’t direct this one. The director of “Black Adam” Jaume Collet-Serra had a lot of slow motion added to the movie which, according to viewers, without it, the movie would have lasted a total of 90 minutes instead of 2 hours. To them, it was a waste of time.

Secondly, viewers are of the opinion that, just because a black man is playing the role of Black Adam, that shouldn’t be a reason to play cliched soundtracks. They are also of the opinion that a good amount of time was wasted in the final battle with Task Force X, and how the movie ended.

But, just as the critics focused on the bad side of the movie, there was no denying that the role of Dr. Fate (played by Pierce Brosnan) was perfect although they criticized his magical powers as being exactly like that of Dr. Strange. The superhero who took most of the criticism for the kind of superpower he has is Atom Smasher (played by Noah Centineo). Viewers are of the opinion that his power which is making himself appear enormous is not in any way special.

Black Adam — The Movie Was So Bad That Fans Screamed For Zack Snyder To Come Back

Just like fans were unsatisfied with the first Justice League (2015) which Zack Snyder didn’t direct, they are also unhappy with Black Adam. Fans screamed their displeasure with Justice League so much that DC had to call back Zack to redirect it. Although Zack later directed the second Justice League (2021), it’s not certain that he will return to redirect Black Adam.

All over Twitter, the hashtag #BringBackZackSnyder is flying around. Unfortunately, no matter how much the fans dislike Black Adam, the probability of bringing back Zack Snyder to remake the movie is about 90/10. Zack Snyder left DC in 2017 after having numerous fights with the studio concerning Justice League.
