Blake Shelton is super excited about the latest addition to his and Gwen Stefani’s family of five. The country singer is stepdad to Stefani’s three kids. Spoiler: it’s not a new pet.

Blake Shelton Is Super Excited About Hunting Season And His New Gear Proves It

Blake Shelton reckons all his pals, and probably fans, will soon be wanting what he terms as “the newest member of the family.” Heads up, he’s not sharing his “big long thing” with anyone, friend or foe.

“And to all my buddies out there, no you’re not borrowing this thing,” he said in the clip shared on Instagram, clearly driven by joy at the arrival of the vehicle in time for hunting season. Now he can hunt “deers and bears” with cool gears. Get it?

Shelton has always been a long time fan of the outdoors, something that, according to him, he’s keen to share with his three step-children.

In an interview with Country Radio Seminar, Shelton opened up about how the boys were adjusting to living with him and learning to love the great outdoors.

“The two of them were like, ‘Well, what do we do now?'” Shelton recalled of his conversation with the oldest boys. “I go, ‘Go out that door and don’t come back till you’re too tired to go any further.’”

He added: “Well, they can’t even imagine just going down to the creek with a net or turning over rocks or getting on a buggy and driving around.”

But the walks weren’t all that they’ve learnt from the “Austin” hitmaker since he wed their mother in 2021. He’s so far taught them how to fish and properly enjoy the great outdoors.

They’ve so far learnt a lot that Shelton added, “When it comes to burning things, starting fires and throwing hatchets. You better get out of the way!”

Fyi, the boys weren’t the only ones adapting to their environment. California girl Stefani did admit that she’s witnessed some shock of her own since relocating amd splitting her time between LA and Oklahoma.

She told Jimmy Kimmel: “It’s pretty magic, I have to say. I had no idea myself that it was such an amazing place. And I get to be face to face with Blake Shelton every day. You should see those eyes under the Oklahoma stars.”
