Blake Shelton – Breaks Promise To Gwen Stefani
The Voice coach alum announced a new show. Blake Shelton has been on the road as part of his nationwide tour. He announced a new stop that would bring him back home.
In his latest Instagram post, Blake shared a montage of his concert stops. The Back to the Honky Tonk tour had him traveling multiple stops.
The tour kicked off in Hershey, Pennsylvania on February 22, and ended in Wichita, Kansas on March 29. Blake previously announced there was “one more weekend” left in his tour so he could spend time with his wife. But then he went back on his word and added a new show.
“Moline & Wichita y’all ready to go #BackToTheHonkyTonk this week?! Then Tulsa… get ready for a VERY special All For The Hall!!!!! Come on!!!!” Blake captioned his Instagram post.
The Tulsa stop wasn’t originally part of his tour. It’s a special show for the Oklahoma is All for the Hall. The benefit concert takes place on Saturday, March 30, and will help aid The Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum.
Announces End To Back To The Honky Tonk Tour
Blake Shelton was previously excited about his tour ending. Gwen Stefani shared a new video on her Instagram Stories. He exclaimed to his wife, “One weekend left!” That’s not the case anymore as he has to perform this upcoming weekend.
Gwen returned to the stage with her husband in the clip. The couple performed their new song “Purple Irises.” Some fans accused Blake of refusing to promote their new collaboration. They noticed that he focused on his tour rather than his latest project with his wife.
Blake Shelton previously ditched Gwen after she promoted their song earlier this month. She revealed their private text messages in which they exchanged lyrics to the song. Blake was absent from the comment section. Most fans wanted to know why he hasn’t been promoting this single.
Maybe it’s because it’s not a country song. It was the first time that Blake sang a pop-rock song. Gwen will be away from home to reunite and rehearse with No Doubt in the weeks leading up to Coachella.
