Blake Shelton To Spice Up Christmas With A Super Deluxe Album

Wow, wow, wow, the cowboy seems set to spread some good old Christmas cheer with lots of festive songs.

So far, I’ve got Mariah Carey’s Christmas Special concerts and Lindsay Lohan’s movie “Falling For Christmas” to look forward to. Now, I’m cheerfully adding Blake Shelton’s “Cheers, It’s Christmas” to the list. Let’s celebrate the season the country way, shall we?

Blake Shelton – To Drop Brand New Christmas Tracks On His “Cheers, It’s Christmas” Album

Christmas this year is going to be fun! And Blake Shelton wants us to have plenty of jolly songs to get us through the holidays. Whatever type of song you love best for the holidays, whether it’s the coming home for Christmas or it’s the thought of snow, or even the jingle bells, don’t fret, this super deluxe project has got your tastes covered.

While this upcoming project is not entirely new, as it’s an extended version of a Christmas holiday album Shelton released ten years ago, there are some brand new songs and collaborators to keep things interesting.

“Cheers, It’s Christmas (Super Deluxe)” is a collection of twenty different songs, from old classics to totally brand new tracks. The notable features on the album include Bebe Rexha, Kelly Clarkson and Michael Bublé.

Earlier this month, Shelton teased the project for the first time with a photo, featuring festive lights with a wreath hanging up on the wall. He captioned it, “It’s about that time of the year…”

Well, it was obvious that the country music legend was hinting at a holiday project in the works: is it a movie, music, or an ad, was what was left to be seen.

A few days later, Shelton decided to drop the teaser act and released the Christmas album.
