Blake Shelton Was Just Gwen Stefani’s Rebound

The Voice star and No Doubt singer finally found her happy ever after.  But, it appears Blake and Gwen’s relationship isn’t going to endure the test of time.

Blake Shelton And Gwen Stefani Fall Apart

Where did Blake Shelton go wrong?  We know Shelton wasn’t always a stellar partner when he was with his ex Miranda Lambert. 

But, in The Voice star’s defense, his relationship with Gwen Stefani was doomed from the start.  Aside from being single, the dynamic duo really had nothing in common. 

It’s no secret how different Blake and Gwen are from each other, that’s why their romance gained so much attention.  But, sadly that also seems to be why they are drifting apart now and going their separate ways.

Gwen Stefani confessed in not so many words that Blake Shelton was a rebound after her exhausting divorce from Rossi. 

The No Doubt singer opened up about Shelton after they began dating and explained, “He basically told me what was going on with him.  We just started this friendship. I wasn’t trying to start a relationship. I was just trying to not die. There was no plan. It was an incredible gift to be able to have a friend.”

Gwen Stefani Comes Clean

Sadly, it sounds like Blake and Gwen’s romance was more or less just a rebound for both of them.  Now that the dust has settled, the couple doesn’t have a whole lot in common other than being divorced.

This month a source close to the couple told Life & Style, “Lately, they’ve been at odds about everything from career decisions and the parenting of her three boys to where they spend most of their time. 

The tension continues to grow, and Blake and Gwen are drifting apart as a result.”
