Last month, Blake Shelton celebrated the start of hunting season by introducing fans to his new “big long thing” that will not only house the body of hunted bears and deers, but the gears used for the hunting.
He was so excited about the arrival of the vehicle that he tagged it a “new member” of the family. Well, if it’s a new member of the family indeed, it’s not getting any love from Gwen Stefani.
Gwen Stefani – Agreed To Disagree After Learning About Blake Shelton’s Love For Hunting
The outdoors has always held a special place in the heart of the country musician, with hunting ranking at the top of his list of the best things to do with nature.
However, he and Gwen Stefani unfortunately don’t see eye to eye when it comes to the proper ways one can use to enjoy nature.
Speaking to Life & Style about the issue, an insider recently shared, “They agreed to disagree about his hunting back when they first got together, but that doesn’t mean it’s an easy thing for Gwen to handle.”

The insider went on, adding: “She’s a huge animal rights person, and has been mostly vegan for a long time, so it’s pretty hard to have her husband out there killing animals for a good time. She’s certainly tried to get him to see her point, but it’s not something he will ever back down on. Still, the least he could do is be a little more low-key about it. He seems to get a kick out of rubbing it in her face, even though he knows it makes her sick to her stomach.”
This doesn’t mean that the No Doubt lead singer isn’t trying her best to adapt to life with Shelton in Oklahoma.
In a previous interview, she told Jimmy Kimmel: “It’s pretty magic, I have to say. I had no idea myself that it was such an amazing place. And I get to be face to face with Blake Shelton every day. You should see those eyes under the Oklahoma stars.”

I’m with Gwen on this one. Blake shows a lack of respect towards Gwen continuing to hunt. Maybe Blake can get used to shooting wildlife with a camera.
I’m not in favor of hunting but I don’t think he is disrespectful to Gwen . He has been hunting probably since he was a kid. It’s like him telling her not to to get her nails or hair done. Just saying. My husband golfs and I’m not a fan but I wouldn’t ever tell him to stop.
Men are going to be men. Most of them always enjoys hunting season. If that’s his only downfall you are lucky. Most men like to hunt but it’s usually not animals. Good luck and blessings to both of you.
