Find out how Pitt and Paltrow gushed about their romance. And see how the actor and actress managed to weave in a plug for the pricey cashmere clothing line. Get all the details below.
Brad Pitt And Gwyneth Paltrow – Gush Love!
Gwyneth Paltrow, famed both as an actress and creator of the Goop website, got together recently with former boyfriend Brad Pitt, known both as an actor and, most recently, for the God’s True Cashmere clothing line. And the two managed to combine flirting with hyping the clothes. But in the process, Brad and Gwyneth also offered a mini master class on how to get gushy.
Chatting in an exchange published on Goop, Pitt and Paltrow recalled their romance. “I’ll never forget when we were engaged,” noted the actress. But she added, “Even though we didn’t get married, unfortunately.” However, Brad laughed, “Oh man, everything works out, doesn’t it? And it’s lovely to have you as a friend now.”
Gwyneth agreed with the benefits of their friendship. “And I do love you,” gushed Brad. But Gwyneth managed to top the actor. “I love you so much,” gushed Paltrow.
Brad Pitt – Hypes Cashmere Clothing Line
Gwyneth Paltrow apparently loves Brad Pitt so much that she also gave him space to hype his new cashmere clothing line. But Brad gave credit to his business partner Sat Hari Khalsa for creating the shirts. “I’ve been dabbling with design and Sat Hari’s a designer herself,” explained Pitt. “And so we came together on that level.”
As a result of working together, Brad invited her to team up after an eerie dream. “She told me about this dream she’d had, of me saying I needed more softness in my life,” revealed the actor. “And I literally had just said to someone that I wanted more softness.” As a result, the two worked together to create “a bunch of shirts that we really like,” summed up Pitt.
However, those who like the concept need a warning. These shirts cost big bucks! For instance, Goop sells the God’s True Cashmere Unisex Button-Down Shirt for more than $2,000. Sold in a tricolor plaid, the shirt description promises a “decadently luxe take on his favorite flannel. Made in Italy of plush, luxuriously soft-on-skin cashmere. And finished with hand-cut gemstone snap buttons (lapis lazuli sourced from India) down the front and at the cuffs.” Even the buttons offer a special enticement. Seven buttons down the placket “represent the 7 chakras, and 11 total, considered a master number in numerology.”
