And it probably helps that Jennifer got the last laugh when Jolie turned around and dumped Pitt! But in recent years, Aniston has gone even further than forgiving. She and Brad have gotten increasingly close, an insider told ET.

For instance, Pitt even got an invitation to Jennifer’s recent birthday party. And an insider revealed that Brad looked “happy to be there.” But for fans seeing such reports and longing to see the two back together, slow that shipping roll! “Brad and Jen are still friends,” shared the source. “They talk and have a nice, friendly, cordial relationship.”

However, the insider also denied rumors about a rekindled romance. Divorced in 2005 after a five-year marriage, Pitt and Aniston stay supportive but not romantic. And that means the two “aren’t getting back together,” insisted the source. “But they have a lot of respect for each other.”

Jennifer Aniston – Spills On Love

However, fans of Brad and Jennifer might still want to hold onto that last shred of hope for several reasons. First, Aniston recently reunited with Pitt for a “Fast Times at Ridgemont High” table read. And second, Jennifer couldn’t resist gushing about her joy over the experience.

“It was absolutely fun,” exclaimed the actress. “Brad and I are buddies, we’re friends. And there’s no oddness at all,” she added. “Except for everyone that probably watched it and was wanting there to be, or assumed there to be.”

As for Jennifer’s romance timeline? It’s complicated. After she broke up with Brad, the actress married Justin Theroux in 2015. However, she split two years later. And Pitt followed an equally complicated path, tying the knot with Angelina Jolie in 2014 before their divorce in 2019.

As a result of all her romance ups and downs, Jennifer now takes a philosophical view of love. “I’m interested in finding a fantastic partner and just living an enjoyable life and having fun with one another,” she shared. “That’s all we should hope for. It doesn’t have to be etched in stone in legal documents. I’m going to just stick to the normal ways of dating. Having someone ask you out. That’s the way I would prefer it.”
