Brad Pitt “Heartbroken” About Family Abuse Leak

Brad Pitt news shows that the actor is said to be is saddened by the leak that his ex Angelina Jolie is “prepared to provide proof” of domestic abuse in the couple’s heated divorce and custody battle.

In 2016 an alleged altercation between their son Maddox and Brad was said to be the final straw in the marriage for Jolie. According to documents obtained by The Blast, she has now filed documents showing she and her children will offer testimony and “proof and authority” to support of her allegations.

A source close to the actor told Page Six that as a result Pitt is, “heartbroken that Angelina has gone that route. There’s a lot of emotion left after their marriage.”

The insider said that The Once Upon A Time… In Hollywood star has taken responsibility for his behavior and acknowledged his past issues. The source added that he has stopped drinking.

“The marriage was very passionate and toxic at times and — like all couples — they had fights, but also shared many good times together. He has talked about his drink and drug problems during the time they were together.”

Brad has never been arrested or charged for any offense during the couple’s marriage, nor have any police reports been made.

But soon after the couple filed for divorce in 2016, it was revealed that Brad was under investigation by the FBI and social services in LA. The reason? It was reported that he got, “verbally abusive and physical with his children,” on a private jet. Later he was cleared of all charges.

Brad’s camp thinks the leak was done on purpose to influence opinion, “ahead of the conclusion of their trial,” the source said.

“Brad feels like he’s being more and more isolated from his children, and he’s devastated about it.”

Brad Pitt News –  Brad Pitt Is Isolated From His Kids

The estranged couple have six children together: Maddox, 19, Zahara, 16, Pax, 17, Shiloh, 14, and twins Knox and Vivienne, 12. They are in the process of working out custody and financial arrangements in the trial and their youngest children will provide testimony if they give permission.

Sources tell the publication that the kids have already been interviewed by court-appointed therapists and Maddox has, “already given testimony as [an] adult in the ongoing custody dispute and it wasn’t very flattering towards Brad.”
