Hollywood spoilers are now reporting that warring ex’s Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have been having stealth meetings at her Los Angeles home prior to their upcoming custody battle. According to The Sun Pitt is, “desperate for all the ugliness to end.” The pair are duking it out over custody of their five minor children and the battle got uglier in October when both parties submitted a list of witnesses to be cross-examined.
The couple separated in 2016 after over a decade together and share adult son 19-year-old Maddox, and minor children 16-year-old Pax, Zahara, 15, Shiloh, 14, and twins Vivienne and Knox, 12.
A private judge will hear the case and now it appears that Pitt doesn’t want to go that route, he would rather bury the hatchet, so to speak, without getting anyone else involved.
Brad Pitt Starred In Once Upon A Time…In Hollywood Is In The Middle Of An Ugly Custody Fight
A source told The Sun, “Brad Pitt drove into the estate in the afternoon – he was hard to miss in his white Tesla sports car. He stayed for around an hour-and-a-half and then he sped away from a private exit he doesn’t normally use. He was clearly doing all he could to avoid being seen.”
They added, “He’s still desperate for all the ugliness to end, even though it’s like pulling teeth seeing eye to eye with Angelina Jolie about virtually anything these days. Brad’s big concern in all this is making some sort of peace, for the kids’ sakes as well as his and Angelina’s.”
According to the source, “This ugliness has gone on way too long and it’s his greatest wish for them to resolve as much as possible outside of the courtroom. Whatever gets decided by the judge, they’ll be co-raising the kids for the rest of their lives. He’s willing to be the bigger person, and it’s a positive sign that he’s spending time with Angie again, for sure.”
Will Girl, Interrupted Star Angelina Jolie, And Brad Pitt Have Joint Custody Of Their Children?
The Sun has previously reported that Pitt is going all out to win the custody case. He has reportedly called 21 witnesses to testify in the case, versus Jolie’s seven witnesses. Pitt’s list includes Jillian Armenante who co-starred with Jolie in the film Girl, Interrupted.
He has also called Stan Katz, a child psychologist who testified at Michael Jackson’s child molestation trial, and Fred Luskin, an expert in “forgiveness therapy.”
