Hollywood Actor Brad Pitt is making headlines again today but this time it’s not about his ongoing custody battle with ex Angelina Jolie or his latest romantic fling. It’s because the hunky actor is narrating a commercial set to debut during Game 4 of the World Series between the Los Angeles Dodgers and the Tampa Bay Rays.
The one-minute commercial is expected to be seen by millions tuning in to Major League Baseball’s signature event and it is an endorsement for the Democratic Presidential candidate Joe Biden.
The World Series is Major League Baseball’s most important event
According to CNN, which has previewed the spot, the commercial pitches Biden’s character as a man who will unite the country together.
Pitt’s voice intones, “America is a place for everyone,” as Biden is seen Biden hugging, high-fiving, and shaking hands with voters before the coronavirus pandemic hit. “Those who chose this country, those who fought for it, some Republicans, some Democrats, and most just somewhere in between.”

Millions of eyeballs are expected to see the ad during the battle for baseball’s biggest trophy. As such the ad is one of several that the Biden campaign has aired on television during high profile events.
Prior to the MLB commercial Biden ads aired on five National Football League games. But it’s not the only one they have placed while the World Series airs. They have bought air time in the three previous games including one narrated by gravelly-voiced actor Sam Elliott.

The commercial narrated by Pitt is titled “Make Life Better.” In it, Pitt is heard saying that all Americans are all searching for the same thing: “Someone who understands their hopes, their dreams, their pain. To listen, to bring people together, to get up every day and work to make life better for families like yours.”
Additionally, he says, “To look you in the eye, to treat you with respect, to tell you the truth. To work just as hard for the people who voted for him as those who didn’t. To be a president for all Americans.”
The campaign did not reveal how much Saturday night’s ad cost but a previous World Series ad was estimated to cost $4 million, per CMAG data. That amount is almost equivalent to the amount spent this fall on advertising in the battleground state of Iowa.
