Britney Spears Admits She Cheated On Justin Timberlake

Let’s rewind back to 1999 for a while, when Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake were just getting together to form what a true dream couple ought to look like.

It was a wonderful time to fall in love with celebrity romance, with these two praising each other up and down like the world would go wrong if their love didn’t make it to forever.

And certainly it didn’t, because in 2002, news broke that the dream couple were going their separate ways.

Oh no, what happened? Shortly after, cheating rumors surfaced and suddenly, Britney Spears was the slutty girlfriend who couldn’t keep her stuff together.

Not to say Justin Timberlake came out and said it straight on, but he did give us enough clues for us to pick up on the signal.

And now, Britney’s saying that the cheating wasn’t what caused their breakup. And he might have been the first to wander.

In her “The Woman In Me” memoir, Spears opened up about the time she made out with choreographer Wade Robson, who worked with Timberlake and NSYNC during their 2000 No Strings Attached Tour. However, she claimed this was a reaction to hearing that he had cheated on her.

“We were out one night and we went to a Spanish bar,” the pop star wrote in an excerpt published by The Sun on Oct. 18. “We danced and danced. I made out with him that night.”

Apart from that one night out, which ended with a kiss, Britney maintains that she had been loyal to him throughout their relationship. Bookmark this: Britney also claimed that they worked through it at the time. So the cheating isn’t the real ghost in the cupboard.

“Justin definitely wasn’t happy about the pregnancy,” she recalled in a passage published by People. “He said we weren’t ready to have a baby in our lives, that we were way too young.”

Anyone who remembers that time very well would know that there were speculations as to whether Britney and Justin even had sex, with Justin confirming it himself during a TV appearance.
So the past has come back to bite us. Figures.
