And Britney sparked outrage by body-shaming Christina and her backup dancers for their body shapes and sizes. As a result, Aguilera immediately stopped following Spears on Instagram. And both Christina’s fans and Britney’s own followers slammed Spears , according to Entertainment Weekly.

The Instagram post mocked Christina and her dancers by comparing their size to Britney’s slim figure. And Spears wrote, “If I had Christina Aguilera’s dancers, I would have looked extremely small.” But that caption combined with the Instagram image sent the social media sphere into overdrive in outrage.

Britney uploaded an image quoting comedian Rodney Dangerfield. “I found there was only one way to look thin: Hang out with fat people,” read Spears’ Instagram quote. And that image sparked outrage from those who felt Britney mocked Christina for her weight. As a result, followers of both Spears and Aguilera slammed the body-shaming post.
