Britney Spears Faces ‘Toxic’ Divorce: Sam Asghari Allegedly Threatens ‘Extortion’

Britney Spears thought her future finally looked bright when she tied the knot with Sam Asghari. But her dream turned into a nightmare as the pop princess’ marriage fell apart within a year.

And now Sam has issued a series of allegations, including that Britney cheated, asked a staff member to film her naked, and gave him a black eye.

Without friends and with her third husband Sam Asghari becoming estranged, Britney Spears has sparked concerns for her well-being.

And it became even worse when that supposedly supportive hubby, 29-year-old fitness trainer Asghari, filed for divorce with horrifying allegations.

For instance, Sam claimed Britney “cheated on him and beat him up, dismissing their six-year relationship by saying: ‘S–t happens’,” reported Page Six.

And the fitness trainer also alleged that Britney gave him a black eye as he slept. But then Asghari alleged that Britney requested a staffer to take films of her naked.

He claimed that she cheated on him with a man who worked at their home. And video might exist of Britney with the staff member in a “compromising position,” said sources.

However, Asghari followed up all those allegations with a statement. “After 6 years of love and commitment to each other my wife and I have decided to end our journey together.

We will hold onto the love and respect we have for each other and I wish her the best always.” But then he added, “S–t happens.”

Britney Spears – Feels ‘Hurt’

Meanwhile, Spears hired famed divorce attorney Laura Wasser to represent her. But an insider shared that Britney says she did not cheat and feels “hurt.”

And she also faces alleged threats from Sam’s team that he will reveal humiliating secrets about Britney if she refuses to shell out more money than their pre-nuptial specifies.

“Sounds like extortion,” shared an insider. However, Britney has sought to stay positive on social media. And she wrote recently, “Buying a horse soon !!! So many options it’s kinda hard !!! A horse called Sophie and another called Roar ??? I can’t make up my mind !!!”

However, Britney plans to keep working, recording a new album amid the divorce drama. And an insider shared that Spears looks forward to an upcoming “writers camp and getting songs from some big artists.”

But author Steve Dennis, who penned the 2010 biography, “Britney: Inside the Dream,” worries about Britney. And he pointed out that until now, Asghari seemed to help the pop princess stay calm. 

But Dennis also praised the choice of Laura Wasser. “She’s got the creme de la creme of divorce lawyers,” said the author. But he warned, “The only hope now is that Sam is going to be reasonable. And if not he will have Laura Wasser to contend with.” 

However, Dennis noted that Britney’s upcoming memoir, “The Woman in Me,” likely favors Asghari. And he theorized that she “may want to do some heavy editing of the book now. But I’m not sure there’s time,” Dennis added.
