According to Page Six, the mother and daughter duo reconnected so they could make an attempt to heal old wounds. While Britney herself hasn’t made any comments about it, sources say that Lynne has been trying to reach out to her daughter for years.

Lynne made the trip from Louisiana to California to see her daughter and was escorted to Britney’s home by her manager, Cade Hudson.

One source close to the situation says that this reunion has been in the works for quite some time now. However, it’s also been reported that Britney plans on dishing all the dirt about her family in her new tell-all book and that no one is going to be spared.

The tipster said, “No one will be spared from her brutal honesty. Britney’s telling it like it is and exposing the turncoats in her life – from former managers to family members.”
