Britney Spears Slams Jamie Lynn Spears
From the timing of Jamie Lynn Spears’ memoir to the tell-all book’s contents, Britney Spears just posted her angriest Instagram yet since the sisters’ feud began. And Britney made her anger clear in attacking Jamie, reported Hollywood Life. For instance, the “Circus” songstress wrote, “The timing of your book was unbelievable Jamie Lynn … especially knowing the whole world had no clue what was really done to me !!!!”
But Spears decided to double down on her belief that Jamie lied throughout her memoir and interviews about her book. “My whole family including you is saying YOU DIDN’T KNOW …. Bullsh*t !!!” accused Britney. And the “Oops I Did It Again” singer also pointed out that she appreciated those who stepped up to defend her.
For instance, Spears shared videos from several daytime talk shows that tackled the sisters’ feud. On both “The Real” and “The Talk,” participants agreed with Britney that Jamie should not have published her book. As a result, the pop singer called them her “real soul sisters.” And she expressed a wish for more supporters. “But what these women are saying here is pretty clear !!!! I’m just kinda shocked that more people like these real soul sisters aren’t telling it like it is !!!”
Britney Spears Tackles Jamie Lynn’s Alleged Lies
In the pop singer’s Instagram post, Britney began by using sarcasm. “National best seller??? DUH,” wrote the snarky singer. But Spears quickly focused on accusing Jamie Lynn of lying. And she even suggested a lie detector test to get at the truth.
“I wish you would take a lie detector test so all these masses of people see you’re lying through your teeth about me !!!!” wrote Britney. But the pop singer seemed to understand the futility of that statement, adding a prayerful wish. “I wish the almighty, Lord would could come down and show this whole world that you’re lying and making money off of me !!!!”
And just in case her anger didn’t come through clearly, Spears also wove more sarcasm into her post. “Congrats best seller,” she mocked. “I’m not surprised at all,” she added with a thumbs down emoji. But then she shifted back to anger. “The nerve of you to sell a book now and talk sh*t but your f**king lying.”
And Britney finished up with an angry summary of her feelings toward her sister. “You are scum, Jamie Lynn,” wrote Spears. As for whether the pop singer will actually read the full memoir? She didn’t reveal the answer.
