Britney Spears’ Housekeeper Makes Disturbing Accusations

Britney Spears housekeeper recently accused the singer of a battery assault, which the staff claimed happened as a result of a dispute over the popstar’s dogs.

The superstar’s staff members said that they took the dogs away because she wasn’t taking good care of them.

Per a report by TMZ on Saturday, the singer’s dogs were near death after suffering from serious nutritional issues.

According to the source, both dogs weren’t getting enough water and were suffering from dehydration, which could be a serious condition. Additionally, the housekeeper believed that the dogs were also ill from being fed table scraps regularly.

This proved fatal to the dogs as they were both supposed to be eating special foods, and one of them needed attention as it suffered from dietary issues that made leftovers particularly bad for it.

The sources further explained that the vet was worried about the condition of the dogs, and this prompted the housekeeper to keep them rather than take them back to Britney’s home.

Britney, on the other hand, reportedly believed that it was all a set up and that her dad, Jamie Spears, who still handles her conservatorship, was involved in having her dogs taken away from her.

However, the concern for the dogs’ health began two weeks ago when one of them fell ill. After a checkup at the vet, it was determined that the dogs weren’t being properly taken care of.

Britney Spears Gets Her Dogs Back

When the dogs weren’t brought home, Spears called authorities with the Ventura County Sheriff’s Office on August 10 at around 6 p.m. to report the theft of the dogs.

Capt. Eric Buschow told Page Six that “when deputies arrived and contacted [Spears’] security staff, they informed the deputies that Ms. Spears decided she did not want to file a report at that time. And so, deputies left.”

Buschow further noted that the deputies did not take a report, or indeed, any official action concerning the incident.

Police also said that they received another call from the singer’s abode by her housekeeper, who called to report that Spears hit her amid a conflict.

TMZ reported that the “Baby, One More Time” singer confronted her housekeeper about the dogs, and the housekeeper, in turn, accused her of neglecting the dogs.

As evidence, the housekeeper showed Britney a series of pictures she had taken of one of the dogs after it vomited, but the singer came to believe that the housekeeper had shared the pictures with her father who ordered the dogs to be taken from her.

The pair got into an alleged altercation and Spears’ ordered her housekeeper to stop taking pics in her home, also smacking the phone out of the housekeeper’s hand. The housekeeper later claimed that the singer didn’t slap the phone out of her hands but hit her arm, and she dropped the phone as a result.

The police deemed the case a very “minor misdemeanor battery”, which Spears is being investigated for, since the staffer was not hurt.

On Friday, it was reported that Spears’ pooches have returned home, and according to TMZ, the housekeeper is no longer working for her.
