Britney Spears’ Mom Tells Daughter To “Please Unblock Me”

The public drama between Britney Spears and her family continues. After 13 years of being under a legal conservatorship and being mostly controlled by her father, the 40-year-old has just about had enough of her family.

What’s bugging the once global popstar wasn’t all the wrongs she felt her family did to her, but that they wouldn’t admit that they did those wrongs. Britney is trying to reel herself in to avoid complaining too much, but every once in a while, an old and sad memory makes her vent her anger on social media.

It’s a healing curve, and her supportive fans understand. After her latest Instagram rant, her mom, who has previously spoken out about wanting to meet and talk to her privately, asked her to “please unblock me”.

When the whole thing fell apart, Lynne demanded that her daughter pay the cost of her legal fees. At the time, a memoir by Britney’s younger sister, Jamie Lynn Spears, exasperated the popstar’s anger towards her family.

Now, it seems that she’s completely cut them all off, and her mom is looking for a way back in.

Lynne’s public apology came after Britney shared that “a genuine apology would help give [her] closure” as she moves forward from the unhappy past.

“I am soooo sorry for your pain! I have been sorry for years!” Lynne responded. “I love you so much and miss you! Britney, deep down you know how much I love and miss you! I apologize for anything and everything that’s hurt you!”

The 67-year-old author also begged her daughter to unblock her so that they can have a deep and meaningful private conversation.

In a recent post on Instagram, Britney admitted that venting about her family has become something she does consistently. “It must seem like I have an extremely hard time letting it all go … but for me the real problem to me is that my family to this day honestly have no conscious whatsoever and really believe in their minds they have done nothing wrong at all !!!! They could at least take responsibility for their actions and actually own up to the fact they hurt me.”

She then continued that a “genuine apology” would have given her closure, but her family refuses to admit they wronged her. She then went on to say that it’s because they don’t respect or value her at all. “As much as I loved them,” she continued, “it’s something that I’ll probably won’t ever be able to get over.”

She also shared that she’s on a journey to moving on and “becoming stronger”. Before rounding up the post, she hinted at the memoir she’s working on and how she’s written “three different versions”.
