Britney Spears Remains Behind ‘Wall’ Despite Ending Conservatorship?

Britney Spears can’t seem to escape controversy. And the latest round of rumors concerns her freedom after the end of the pop princess singer living under the rules of a conservator. A new report claims that Britney still lives within a sort of plastic bubble, allowed to communicate only with certain individuals.

Britney Spears – Stuck Behind ‘Wall’? 

Lance Bass feels concerned enough about Britney Spears to voice his views, he told Page Six. And Bass reflected on how his relationship with Spears got impacted by the termination of her conservatorship. That court situation ended in November 2021. But since then, Lance has not succeeded in getting a response from the pop songstress.

“Not at all,” emphasized Bass. In a discussion that took place at the Vanderpump Dog Foundation’s sixth annual World Dog Day in West Hollywood, Calif., Lance also described his attempts to connect. According to Bass, he repeatedly reached out to Britney. And just as often, Spears made no response.

As a result, Lance believes that a “wall [exists] around her. And for some reason, those people don’t want her old friends involved with her life [today],” claimed Bass. Britney, 40, and Lance, 43, first became friends in the 1990’s. Because the singers went out with the same groups of people, they often encountered each other. And they also took turns topping the pop music charts.

Adding to all the connections, Spears dated Bass’ pal Justin Timberlake at one point. And Britney became so close to Lance that Bass even confided in her that he was gay long before he came out in public. However, although Lance clearly feels close to Britney, does she feel the same way?

But despite the lack of messages from Britney, Lance has not changed his feelings toward her. And even the end of the legal arrangement ruled by Britney’s father Jamie Spears has not opened up communications between Bass and the pop princess. “We’ve been kept away from each other for quite a while,” summed up Lance. 

And as he looked back, he estimated that he had not spent time with Britney since 2016. But overall, Bass wants just to wish Spears, who is his sixth cousin once removed, the best of luck and happiness. “I just wish her luck,” emphasized Lance. “She seems very happy, so I’m happy that she’s happy.”
