Britney Spears Says She Has No “Joy” After Her Sons Cut Her Off

I guess it’s no longer Britney against the rest of the Spears’ family, but Britney against the Federlines. Earlier last month, Britney’s ex-husband Kevin Federline went on a talkshow to share details about Britney’s strained relationship with her two young sons.

In the interview, Kevin made it clear that he was supportive of the 13-year conservatorship, saying that the pop singer’s father always had the best in mind for her. Following the interview, Sam Asghari, Britney’s husband since June, politely asked Kevin Federline to keep his wife’s name out of his mouth.

The request was, however, not heeded when Kevin allowed his and Britney’s teenage sons, Sean Preston and Jayden, to talk about their relationship with their mother for a documentary.

The things they said during the interview has left the “Toxic” singer feeling dejected.

Britney Spears – Remembers A Time She Had More Custody Over Her Children

In a series of voice messages shared on Instagram over the weekend, Britney Spears talked about being devastated that she’s estranged from her children.

On Saturday, September 10, Britney recalled the beautiful times when she used to have more physical custody over her kids than her ex, Kevin – as much as much 70% of the time from the ages of 6 through 9.

According to TMZ, Preston, 16, and Jayden, 15, haven’t seen their mom in as much as six months. “Since they’ve been gone I’ve honestly felt like a huge part of me has died,” Britney shared. She continued, “Like literally I have no purpose anymore — they were my joy, they were my everything. I look forward to seeing them,” later adding how baffled she is that “it’s so easy just to cut me off like that.”

A few days earlier, she took to Instagram to tell her son Jayden that he’s starting to treat and talk about her like her family formerly did.

“Jayden, as you undermine my behavior just like my whole family always has with, ‘Hope she gets better, I will pray for her’ … Pray for what?” she began her voice message. “I keep working so I can pay off [my mother Lynne Spears’] legal fees and her house,” she said before claiming that her sons’ “hateful” comments are as a result of their fears that they’re approaching 18 soon and her financial obligations to them will then end.

In another post uploaded on Instagram on Sunday, September 11, Britney revealed that she has no hopes of gracing the stage ever again because she has enough traumas to last a lifetime.
