Since then, they’ve mutually remained supportive of one another, with Madonna being one of the celebrities that were involved in the free Britney movement. Britney Spears, on the other hand, showed appreciation for the love by dancing to Madonna’s “Express Yourself” on Instagram.

Another celebrity who has had a long history with the pop princess is millionaire heiress Paris Hilton since their days as rising stars in the 2000s.

Shortly before the dissolution of Spears’ 13-year conservatorship, Hilton penned an essay about the musician for Time.

“When I think of Britney Spears, I see the sweetest soul. A mother. A friend. A fighter,” wrote Hilton. “A young woman who grew up in the tabloid culture of the 2000s, when the paparazzi machine was accepted, unforgiving and cruel.”

As for Britney Spears and Selena Gomez, while the pair don’t have a public relationship, they’ve praised their works and talents during interviews and beyond. Gomez has also released a song co-written by Spears titled “Whiplash” in 2011. In 2020, Selena Gomez, 29, called Spears “a rare beauty” after she quoted lines from her song “Kill Em with Kindness” on Instagram.

Media outlets confirmed that Spears and Asghari, 28, will be wedded at a small ceremony attended by 60 close guests, with Britney Spears stunning in a gown by famed fashion house Versace.
