Brooke Shields to Lead New Acorn TV Crime Series ‘Allie & Andi’

Brooke Shields is stepping into the world of murder mysteries with Allie & Andi, a gripping six-part series slated to premiere in 2026 on AMC Networks’ Acorn TV.

Shields won’t just be in front of the camera—she’s also taking on the role of executive producer, reuniting with writer and creator Robin Bernheim, her collaborator on Netflix’s Mother of the Bride.

A Brief Detail About The Series

Set against the cozy charm of a New England colonial town, Allie & Andi centers on a best-selling author (played by Shields) who teams up with a younger, ambitious writer and influencer.

Their mission? Solve the murder of someone close to them. What begins as an unlikely partnership evolves into a bond forged through secrets, suspicion, and the search for truth.

Production is expected to kick off this fall, with the show debuting exclusively on Acorn TV in 2026.

It’s a co-production between AMC Studios and Dynamic Television, with Acorn TV and AMC Studios handling distribution in major English-speaking territories including North America, the UK, Ireland, Australia, and New Zealand. Dynamic Television will take charge of international sales.

A Reunited Creative Force Behind the Scenes

In an official statement, Shields shared her excitement: “I’m overjoyed to collaborate once again with the incredible Robin Bernheim who has created two strong, smart women you want to root for within Allie & Andi. The writing and storytelling are unmatched and it’s a project I’m not only proud of but a role I can’t wait to embody.”

Robin Bernheim brings her well-established credentials to the series. She’s known for her work on Star Trek: Voyager, Hallmark’s When Calls the Heart, and Netflix hits like The Princess Switch and A Christmas Prince: The Royal Wedding.

Bernheim’s partnership with Shields has already proven fruitful—and Allie & Andi looks set to build on that chemistry.

AMC’s Vision for Smart, Sophisticated Storytelling

Joining Shields and Bernheim on the executive production team are Daniel March and Carrie Stein for Dynamic Television, alongside Rob Fox and Shannon Cooper for Acorn TV/AMC Studios.

Joining a Growing List of Acorn TV Originals

Allie & Andi will enter a growing slate of original titles on Acorn TV, which includes Harry Wild starring Jane Seymour, My Life Is Murder featuring Lucy Lawless, Murder Before Evensong with Matthew Lewis, and Irish Blood led by Alicia Silverstone, among others.

Shields is represented by UTA and Untitled Entertainment.
