Fans are just coming off the excitement of watching Jungkook’s ‘I Am Still’ documentary, and now they’re heading into RM’s? It’s going to be one fun festive season, isn’t it? So, what do we know about it.
RM’s Documentary Set To Offer Fans A Behind-the-scenes Look At the Making of His Second Studio Album
‘RM: Right People, Wrong Place’ has gotten its official release date and poster, after it made its world premiere date at the Busan festival last month.
It will hit theaters globally on Dec. 5, and follow RM as he gets into the nuts and bolts of making his second studio album.
RM is best known as the leader and rapper of the global K-pop group BTS, and while he’s done solo ventures, he’s likely still looking forward to reuniting with the seven-member group come 2025.
Prior to his mandatory military enlistment, the rapper had spent roughly eight months working on his second solo album and has captured it for fans to enjoy when it hits the theaters.
The documentary’s synopsis promises that it “explores his reflections on how honest he can be as both RM and Kim Namjoon (the artist’s given name), as he navigates the gratitude for the attention he receives with the pressure and fear that come with his fame.”
RM worked with director Lee Seokjun, who has previously directed music videos for another BTS member J-Hope, on the documentary. It will be produced by Hybe, the parent company to BTS’ label Big Hit Music and is distributed by CJ 4DPLEX, a subsidiary of Korean conglomerate CJ Group.
‘RM: Right People, Wrong Place’ will be available in 90 countries and regions around the world, with its premiere set to happen in Seoul, South Korea, on Dec. 5, as reported by The Hollywood Reporter. You can find more information about the film on the CGV website and app in Korea and on the film’s website globally.
“I’d try to see to what extent I could be truly honest with myself as RM, or as Kim Namjoon,” RM says of his search for authenticity, adding, “For the first time in a while, I feel like I’m existing as myself.”
