Fuller House star Candace Cameron Bure recently shared a series of images featuring herself and actress Marilu Henner.
It turns out the workout outfits they were wearing were inspired by Barbie, long before the hit movie premiered in 2023. Read on and see the fun images shared by the Great American Family actress.
Candace Cameron Bure and Marilu Henner ‘did’ Barbie before the movie
In a post shared yesterday by former Hallmark star Candace Cameron Bure, she and Marilu Henner are wearing workout clothing inspired by the iconic Barbie.
It looks like the two women modeled their style after the 1983 Great Shape Barbie.
In the images, Bure, 47, flaunts a light blue and hot pink leotard and light pink leg warmers. Meanwhile, Henner, 71, is clad in a latex bubblegum pink ensemble matched with a tight, black cropped jacket and dark pink, turquoise and purple leg warmers.
We have to say that Marilu looks incredible for her age!
Moreover, both ladies also purchased large doll boxes as part of their costumes. They even taped their feet to reveal Barbie’s arch.
In her caption, Bure writes, “I’ve suddenly realized that @therealmarilu and I ‘Barbied’ before Barbie even ‘Barbied’.”
Fans react to the Barbie-themed post
One of Candace’s followers commented, writing, “Okay, but the real question is: Where did MariLu get a Hot Pink Plastic Jumpsuit!?”
Moreover, another pointed out that the photos were taken while Bure and Henner were quarantining together in 2020. At that time, the duo was filming Aurora Teagarden Mysteries: Heist and Seek, which premiered on Hallmark in May 2020.
Meanwhile, many followers shared their love for the fun images, with one writing, “So cute, Barbie!” while another wrote, “Love these looks on you two, so fun!” Yet another fan gushed, “Wow you both look super awesome!”
Moreover, one fan even went so far as to write that Bure’s look was better than Margot Robbie’s in the new box office hit.
They wrote, “Definitely better than the current Barbie film,” while another quipped, “Better than the Barbie movie for sure.”
