So, this all started on Sunday, July 24, when Siwa decided to join in on the TikTok challenge that was initially started by her BFF Megan Trainor. Now, the challenge is; that you show pictures of celebrities you love, have/had a crush on, those you see as nice, and those you consider not good.
So, after Trainor did the challenge, Siwa Joined in to do hers, Siwa mentioned Miley Cyrus as her nicest celebrity, she mentioned Zendaya as her celebrity crush, even SpongeBob SquarePants made it to her list.
But then the gist comes when Siwa mentioned Candace Cameron Bure as the “Rudest Celebrity” she’s ever met. Dang dang dang..! All hell broke loose. Now, the thing is, Siwa just showed the picture of Candice on her phone for…say two seconds and quickly removed it, but come on!
You don’t get to say someone is the rudest celebrity you’ve ever met and not expect fans to want to know who, so…they did the smartest thing to do…they clicked pause on the video, zoomed in on the picture, and discovered that the “rudest celebrity” is none other than our Fuller House star Candace.

Apparently, Candace saw the video because trust me, it went viral. So Candace saw the video and couldn’t place where she met Siwa to rub in the impression that she was a rude person. On Tuesday, July 26, Candace made a video of her own explaining everything and letting people know that she and Siwa are on good terms.
So, Candace said when she saw Siwa’s TikTok video on Sunday, she did all she could to reach out to Siwa and find out what she meant by that because all she could remember was meeting Siwa at The Kelly Clarkson Show, and from her recollection, everything was fine. When Candace got hold of Siwa and asked for an explanation, Candace said that at first Siwa didn’t want to tell her what she did because “it’s so silly” and Siwa didn’t expect the video to go viral.
Siwa finally revealed to Candace that they met back in 2016 during the premiere of Fuller House on the red carpet when Siwa was just 11 years old, and according to Siwa, she asked to take a picture with Candace but Candace told her “Not right now,” before proceeding to continue taking pictures with other people.
After Candace heard Siwa’s reason, she felt bad and said, “I kind of broke your 11-year-old heart. I didn’t take a picture with you. Ugh! I feel crummy, I feel—JoJo, I’m so sorry.”
Well, after the explanation from Candace via her own video, Candace went on to say that whatever happened between her and Siwa is all water under the bridge, they’re all good now.

JoJo Siwa — Siwa Said Candace Is Not Mean
According to Candace, after hearing what Siwa had to say concerning the viral TikTok video, Siwa went on to explain that she finally gets it now that she’s an adult, that back then, she was just 11 years old and too young to understand but now she has understood it, Siwa said, “You weren’t even mean! And I get it now as an adult, when you’re on the red carpet and everything’s happening and you’re being pulled in different directions. But at that time I was 11.”
After Candace had apologized to Siwa, Siwa made a video to say that she was a big fan of Candace before meeting her in person hence the request to take a picture with her and that her experience with Candace when she was a kid doesn’t define Candace as a bad person, “I will say because I had a bad experience, that doesn’t mean that she is an awful human, I think it just was an inconvenient time for her, and little 11-year-old me was just so pumped up and so excited, but that doesn’t mean she’s the worst human ever.”
