Cardi B Says That Doing Community Service Has Made Her Into A Better Person

If she says it, we certainly believe it. Chart topper Cardi B recently went on the record to say that doing community service hours has certainly made her a better person. As many of her fans probably already know, Cardi pled guilty to third-degree assault and second-degree reckless endangerment after she had gotten into a fight at a strip club back in 2018. Here’s what he has to say about it.

While it certainly did take her a very long time to do her community service, Cardi B says that she’s loving every second of it. She’s currently working with a group called Girl Talk, where mentors come in to share a little of their guidance with young girls who are at risk.

Speaking to People magazine in a new interview, Cardi B’s attorney said, “Personally and professionally, Cardi is dedicated to community service and charitable endeavors. She therefore appreciates the court giving her until March 1 to complete her community service commitment in Queens, New York.”

What’s more, Cardi herself took to her Twitter account to share her own experience with the program. She said, “Community service has been the best thing that has happened to me. Almost like a spiritual journey because sometimes I leave these centers in tears. Those people that we leave behind they just need somebody to talk and a lil push and YOU might be able to change their life forever.”

What’s Next For Cardi B?

Many of her fans have commented ont he matter with, “She’s been a mess in the past, but she’s learning and growing which is great. Glad she’s actually doing her service hours unlike many celebs,” along with, “I’m not a Cardi fan but I am a fan of giving people room to learn and do better. Yep even if it is courts mandated. There is no impetus to change if you’re always going to be treated as if you just did the worst thing that you ever actually did.”

Another critic wrote, “Eh, if she can inspire some trick to turn her life around, that’s one of the least offensive things I’ve ever heard about Cardi B. Too bad it was court ordered so it’s not like this happened voluntarily, but credit where it’s due.”
