With the Country Music Awards (CMA) a success, Underwood might have enjoyed a fabulous date night with Fisher. But insiders claim that the two experienced a rocky night out instead. And the 39-year-old queen of country music couldn’t seem to relax with her 41-year-old husband even after the CMA’s ended.

However, one source linked the problems to Carrie’s fame. For instance, the insider described fans and even other country music stars “praising and fawning over Carrie.” As a result, Mike “couldn’t seem to get a word in edgewise. He felt like a spare part, and it really got to him.”

Can Carrie Underwood’s – Marriage Survive This Rough Patch?

Marriages don’t always promise smooth sailing. But an insider claimed that the on-going spotlight on Carrie Underwood makes her husband MIke Fisher increasingly unhappy. For instance, at a recent event, an attendee thought Mike looked like a waiter and requested a cocktail!

“Someone even mistook Mike as a waiter and asked him for a cocktail because he was lingering by the bar alone in a suit while Carrie was off networking. He was beyond mortified,” shared the source. But the parents of sons Isaiah Michael, 7, and Jacob Bryan, 3, have endured marriage problems for years, according to the insiders. However, Underwood has successfully hidden her problems from fans.

“She puts on a happy show for the cameras,” pointed out one insider. “But there’s a lot going on behind the scenes. If you ask people who know them, they’ll say Carrie and Mike’s 11-year-marriage is far from picture perfect. The truth is they’ve had issues for years.”

And the pandemic allegedly made everything worse. Before the COVID-19 lock-down, Underwood felt insecure in the relationship. But when lock-down came, everything changed. And the country music crooner allegedly began to feel more annoyed about her husband. 

But the end of lock-down didn’t end their problems, according to the sources. As a result, Mike has started “seeing even less of Carrie. He goes crazy thinking about all of the guys she’s closely working with, like Jason [Alden],” added one insider. “He’ll sometimes hit the bar and get drunk with his friends as a distraction or because he’s bored or feeling lonely.”
