Chris Evans – Ties The Knot With Alba Baptista
Boston turned into the land of superheroes recently, with Chris Evans’ co-stars gathering to support him on his wedding day.
And the current Sexiest Man Alive tied the knot with Alba Baptista, 26, in a wedding held at a private estate in Cape Cod, Mass., according to People.
But the wedding guest list resembled the cast of a Marvel movie line-up. For instance, Evans’ Marvel co-star Robert Downey Jr. attended with his wife, Susan Downey. And Chris Hemsworth supported his co-star with his wife, Elsa Pataky. Others at the wedding included Jeremy Renner, John Krasinski, and Emily Blunt.

Some of Chris’ co-stars and pals took the occasion together for a dinner date. And Hemsworth, Downey, their wives and Renner dined and chatted at the Contessa restaurant in the five-star Newbury Boston hotel. And guests returned from the wedding after midnight, looking “very happy, joking and smiling,” said an observer.
Chris Evans Has ‘Never’ Felt Happier
And the wedding took place after the current Sexiest Man Alive had dated his now-wife for more than a year. “And it’s serious,” said an insider. “They are in love and Chris has never been happier. His family and friends all adore her.”
The daughter of a translator and an engineer, Baptista speaks five languages. And she became known for her lead role in Mrs. Harris Goes to Paris and on Netflix’s Warrior Nun.

Alba also became involved in humanitarian work at an orphanage in Cambodia, focusing on education. And in 2021, she received the Shooting Star award at the Berlin Film Festival in 2021.

But on Valentine’s Day, Evans posted pics showing himself with Alba traveling, hiking, canoodling, and spending time with his dog Dodger. And the actor also posted a video featuring himself and his now-wife teasing each other on occasion throughout the year. “A look back at 2022,” wrote the actor.
Last year, Chris shared that he felt “very content” with life. And he wanted to focus on balancing work with life, and spending time with those he loved. “That’s absolutely something I want: wife, kids, building a family,” said the actor.
And Evans pointed out, “When you read about most of the best artists, whether it’s actors, painters, writers, most of them [admit] it wasn’t the work they made [that they are most proud of], it was about the relationships; the families they created, the love they found, the love they shared. So it’s also something through my long 41 years that also rings true. Those things are the most important,” he added. “I love the idea of tradition and ceremony. I had a lot of that in my life, so the idea of creating that — I can’t think of anything better.”
