Chris Pratt Says He’s A “Total Girl Dad” With Daughter Eloise

When it comes to the father and daughter relationship, it’s always a bond too good and too strong to break. Yeah, they say the boys are mostly attached to their mothers but, have you not seen the girls and their fathers? Omg, when those genders team together, nothing can ever come between them.

Now, Chris Pratt has two daughters with his wife Katherine Schwarzenegger, Lyla Maria who is currently 1 year and 10 months old, and Eloise who recently came to this world on May 21st of last month. Imagine Chris with his girls, having fun time together, that would be soo beautiful.

Recently, Chris said on the June 27 episode of SiriusXM’s Pop Culture Spotlight with Jessica Shaw that after the arrival of Eloise, he had been spending time with his eldest daughter Lyla, since her mom is focused on the new baby.

Chris Pratt — Speaking On His Bonding With His Daughter

The life of an actor is mostly on the road and on set. Actors barely have time to enjoy themselves with their loved ones, that’s why most of them when they take breaks from acting, they hardly disclose their return date because they want to spend as much time as possible with their families to make up for their absence.

Chris shared that he had been busy filming Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3—which is slated for release next year—up until the baby was born. Now that they’ve wrapped, he is happy to be able to spend more time with his family.

“I definitely felt like now’s the time to really work on that connection with Lyla,” he said, “and it’s been fantastic. We spend hours together every day and just play and dance and do dance parties,” he continued. “I’m a total girl-dad. I love it.”

Of course, the actor couldn’t do it alone. He previously credited his wife—whom he married in June 2019— for guiding him as a parent.

“Katherine just has the most amazing maternal instincts,” the actor told Live From E! at the Jurassic World Dominion June 6 premiere. “She just really knows what to do. I’ll follow her lead.”

Chris Pratt’s – Mom In-Law Appreciates Him

Chris received support from his mother-in-law, Maria Shriver. “I want to remind you today what a good man you are,” Maria wrote in the comment section of his post. “What a great father you are to Jack and Lyla, what a great husband you are to Katherine, what a great son-in-law you are to me and what a great sense of humor you have!”

Added Maria, “Keep being your wonderful self, rise above the noise.”
