Chrissy Teigen and John Legend have welcomed their fourth child into the world. And the couple did so just a few months after their baby Esti arrived in the world. The newest member of the family arrived via surrogate.

Chrissy Teigen – Welcomes Baby Boy Via Surrogate

John Legend and Chrissy Teigen have just added a new baby to their busy lives. The musician, 44, and cookbook author, 37, shared that their fourth baby arrived via surrogate. And Chrissy welcomed her baby boy in an Instagram post that thanked her surrogate, noted People.

Celebrating the birth of her new son Wren Alexander Stephens, Teigen wrote about her gratitude in her social media post. “We want to say thank you for this incredible gift you have given us, Alexandra,” shared Chrissy. And she expressed appreciation to the “most incredible, loving, compassionate surrogate.” Teigen and Alexandra were both pregnant at the same time for a few months.

And John and Chrissy shared that they decided to honor their surrogate by using a variation on her name for their son’s middle name. “We are so happy to tell the world he is here, with a name forever connected to you, Wren Alexander Stephens. Our hearts, and our home, are officially full. And to our Jack, we know both their angel kisses are from you,” wrote Teigen on Instagram. She celebrated the arrival of her fourth child five months after giving birth to her baby Esti.

However, the cookbook author struggled after Esti’s birth with rumors that she secretly opted for a surrogate. And to challenge the gossip, Chrissy posted pics that showed her body after her cesarean section. “Extremely realistic ‘moon bump,'” commented Teigen about the pics.

And Chrissy also discussed her cesarean section in interviews. “I was kind of excited,” she admitted about the surgery. Teigen previously gave birth to her son Miles Theodore, 4, and daughter Luna Simone, 7. And in comparison, she shared, “I really love surgery.”

But the always candid cookbook author also added, “I like that I’ve seen both experiences. The incision is a lot,” admitted Chrissy. “And you never know how your stomach’s going to come together. I think your organs are on the table for a second,” noted Teigen. “But that, to me, is so cool. I was taking pictures above the seat. I have the craziest pictures of the cord and everything.” 

When John’s and Chrissy’s third baby arrived, she shared her joy over her baby girl on Instagram. “She’s here! Esti Maxine Stephens – the house is bustling,” gushed Teigen. “And our family could not be happier. Daddy sheds nightly tears of joy seeing Luna and Miles so full of love,” added Chrissy about Legend. “And I am learning you still need diapers with a c section!? We are in bliss. Thank you for all the love and well wishes – we feel it all!”
