Chrissy Teigen Welcomes Third Baby With John Legend!

Chrissy Teigen spent months showing off her growing baby bump on social media. And that got fans eager to hear the news that her husband John Legend just shared. Chrissy and John have welcomed their third child into the world!

John Legend Joyfully Shares Third Baby’s Arrival!

Congratulations, John Legend and Chrissy Teigen. On Friday, the musician excitedly announced the arrival of his third baby with wife Chrissy Teigen. And at a private concert, John couldn’t resist gushing about his new arrival, according to Us magazine.

“What a blessed day,” exclaimed Legend, 44 to the audience. And John admitted that he “didn’t get a lot of sleep.” But despite spending hours at the hospital during the baby’s birth, Legend felt “energized.” His baby announcement follows 37-year-old Chrissy’s original pregnancy announcement in August 2022.

And Teigen delighted her fans with her baby bump selfie in her Instagram announcement. But she also admitted  her struggles in getting pregnant again. “The last few years have been a blur of emotions to say the least,” shared Chrissy. “But joy has filled our home and hearts again. 1 billion shots later (in the leg lately, as u can see!) we have another on the way.”

Chrissy Teigen Described Pregnancy Struggles

And known for her honesty with fans, Chrissy admitted that she delayed her baby bump announcement. “Every appointment I’ve said to myself, “ok if it’s healthy today I’ll announce.’ But then I breathe a sigh of relief to hear a heartbeat and decide I’m just too nervous still.”

However, Chrissy previously went through heartbreak after her 2020 pregnancy loss. The model and musician, who share son Miles, 4, and daughter Luna, 6, had felt devastation when they lost a son at 20 weeks pregnant. “Two years ago, when I was pregnant with Jack, John and my third child, I had to make a lot of difficult and heartbreaking decisions. It became very clear around halfway through that he would not survive,” she shared. 

And Legend confessed that he felt uncertain about sharing their loss to the public. But though it felt challenging at the time, John feels that they made the right decision. “It was difficult and I was hesitant to share it,” he noted. However, the Grammy winner supported his wife. And he explained, “I think Chrissy was really right in encouraging us to share it because I think it really was powerful for a lot of people.”
