Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie split in 2016 after being together for more than a decade. The former couple shares six children together and have been embroiled in a bitter custody battle that has lasted for five years.

As he continues to fight for more time with his kids, Brad revealed that he would be happy getting back into the dating game if he wasn’t so afraid of doing something wrong.

Brad Pitt – Hates The “Gossips” Surrounding His Love Life

The Hollywood A-list star is said to be finding it hard finding someone to date after splitting with Angelina Jolie, even though he “would dearly love to date again”.

What’s keeping the “Once Upon a Time in Hollywood” star is that he’s not looking for flings and short-term dates, he’s looking to find the perfect someone to spend the rest of his life with and avoid another catastrophic and public relationship breakdown.

The Insider explained to US Weekly that “the trouble is that he hates the process and how he can’t even step out for a friendly coffee without it being gossiped about.”

For the time being, Brad’s major focus apart from his love life is “family, charities and work”.

Pitt is reportedly working hard to overturn the hatred and “bad blood” within the family for the sake of the children. But considering that Angelina Jolie fought to overthrow a court ruling granting Brad Pitt partial custody of his five minor children earlier this year, it would seem like the “Maleficent” actress is not ready to put the past behind her.
