“Dancing With The Stars” Artem Chingvinstev Arrested For Domestic Violence

According to TMZ, Dancing With The Stars (DWTS) professional dancer, Artem Chingvistsev, is currently in a Napa, California jail as he’s been arrested for domestic battery.

As per online jail records, Chingvinstev was booked in the Napa County Jail the morning of Thursday, August 29 due to a domestic violence felony charge.

There’s not much information about what led to Artem’s arrest or what the situation was behind it all.

However, it’s important to note that Artem’s wife of two years, former wrestler and WWE star Nikki Garcia, also known as Nikki Bella, revealed on her Instagram Story on Wednesday, August 27 that she was in Napa as well.

As of this writing, it’s unclear if she’s involved in this domestic violence dispute in any way.

Interestingly enough, Nikki and Artem just celebrated their two-year wedding anniversary earlier this week.

In fact, both acknowledged this milestone  on their respective Instagram handles with some heartwarming posts.

The two met on DWTS in 2019, during Season 25 when they were placed as partners together in the dancing competition.

Nikki was dating fellow WWEer John Cena at the time; however, after the two broke up, she began dating Artem and the rest is history.

The two have a son together, Matteo, who is 4 years old and share a home in Napa Valley.

This coming Monday, Nikki is scheduled to host the Netflix live eating competition event, “Chestnut VS. Kobayashi: Unfinished Beef.”

Meanwhile, it’s been confirmed by Variety that while Artem has competed in 12 seasons of DWTS, including the last four consecutive seasons, he was not slated to be a part of Season 33.
