Decoding the Alec and Hilaria Baldwin Red Carpet Interaction That Went Viral

Let’s be honest, most of us hated Alec Baldwin and family’s reality TV show – The Baldwins, if you may – even before it dropped. However, curiosity always wins, or in this case, hate-watching. Quick question, this is the reason we all watched ‘Dune’ right?

Anyway, word on the street is that Alec Baldwin’s wife Hilaria is the one wearing the pants in their relationship. To explain this away, we were given a totally new explanation: Alec man-terrupted her and she put him in his place like the feminist icon she is. You see the pattern? Not yet? Okay, keep reading let me break it down for you.

Hilaria Baldwin Doesn’t Want Alec Baldwin To Talk When She’s Talking

We’ve all had our suspicions of what a controlling woman, or a controlling man, can be like. But the thing is, we all crack every once in a while.

Even when we’re in the happiest and healthiest relationship ever recorded since Alexander the Great decided to conquer nations and stuff. So maybe the press reaction to Hilaria screeching at Alex in front of the cameras was a bit misplaced.

She should have thought of the cameras they said. She should have respected the event they said. Well, we’re human beings and we usually don’t have the perfect place for a meltdown.

In Hilaria’s defense, I think she’s just trying to prove that she belonged, and that she didn’t get to be the star of a reality TV show based only on her husband’s merit. Now wait a minute, I know you’re rolling your eyes and thinking it’s so, but let’s be her for a second, yeah?

So she’s trying to strut her stuff on the red carpet, smiling at the cameras, with her mind clicking to probably rehearsed lines to say to the press, and Alec just disrupted her train of thought.

This awkward moment I’ve been hinting about since the dawn of time happened when an interviewer asked them to shed some light on their show. Hilaria started to explain, and when Alec cut in, she rudely shut him up with these words: “No! When I’m talking you’re not talking!”

The footage went viral and people took it that the woman who shares seven children with the ’30 Rock’ star has finally figured out a way to put him in her pocket.

Well, I for one choose to see it as an isolated incident that does not totally define their relationship.

However, curbing the backlash by saying Baldwin “man-terrupted” his wife did not particularly help either. We’re all humans: we shout every once in a while. And we interrupt someone else every once in a while.
