Did Kim Kardashian Just Shade Kendall Jenner On American Horror Story?

Social Media is buzzing with the clip from the October 6 episode of American Horror Story: Delicate which one of the Kardashian sisters starred in.

Of course, Kim Kardashian‘s performance on the series was judged but that is not the gist. The main gist came from a particular scene in which Kim’s character Hollywood publicist Siobhan recreated a popular scene from an episode of Hulu’s The Kardashians.

It happened that in that particular scene, Kim showed her swordsmanship while cutting a cucumber and from the dialogue in the scene she seemed to give a nod to the origin of her actions.

For clarity purposes, viewers seemed to think that Kim’s cucumber cutting scene was inspired by her kid sister Kendall Jenner‘s viral cucumber cutting scene.

In the clip, Siobhan paid her friend Anna (Emma Roberts) who was having fertility difficulty a visit. Along the line, Siobhan offered to make Anna some “Real food” and proceeded to bring out a cucumber and chop on a chopping board, and surprisingly, Kim proved to be a better knife handler than Kendall.

When Anna peeked at what Siobhan was doing she said “It’s orgasmic,” to which Siobhan responded, “It’s the green goddess dressing that went viral on TikTok.”

Kim Kardashian — Reaction From Fans After Watching AHS

As expected, the clip went viral. After seeing how well Kim cut the vegetable, “IM SCREAMING,” one fan wrote, while another said, “I couldn’t believe they threw that in there,” and another took to TikTok to say, “Redemption cucumber cut. Kim K really said ‘I can do EVERYTHING better than my sisters’ with this scene.”

An X user wrote, “Kim Kardashian cutting a cucumber in the latest episode of AHS is kind of amazing,” and another added, “Last week we got the Marilyn’s dress reference and this week we got the Kendall’s cucumber reference. I know Kim is behind all of these lmao #ahsdelicate.”

The “Marilyn Monroe dress reference” in question came from a dress scene in AHS where Anna told Siobhan not to rip the dress she was zipping up for her. The comment seems to be a nod to Kim Kardashian’s controversial Met Gala dress which she ripped before proceeding to lose 16lbs to fit into.

Kim Kardashian — Kendall’s Viral Cucumber Story

In an episode of The Kardashians which aired in May 2022, Kendall found herself at the center of every discussion after she was captured cutting cucumber in a weird way.

In the clip, Kendall’s mom Kris Jenner who was in the kitchen with her, asked if she’d like their chef to make her a snack and Kendall replied, “I’m making it myself. Just gonna chop up some cucumber, it’s pretty easy.” Well, Kendall misspoke because she found it difficult to even hold the knife properly.

The video quickly gained traction with comments like, “I just saw a TikTok of Kendall Jenner attempting to chop a cucumber and it’s the most embarrassing thing I’ve ever seen in my life,” and, “Kendall legit not knowing how to slice a cucumber on The Kardashians & Kris yelling ‘chef’ to come help her really just puts their wealth into perspective,” flying all over TikTok

In fact, most users labeled the lighthearted clip a display of Kendall’s rich and privileged lifestyle, calling her and her entire family “far removed from reality.”

“always knew the Kardashians were sooooo far removed from reality but seeing Kendall try to cut a cucumber was too much for me,” echoed someone. Calling the whole thing “cringey,” one person tweeted: “I know Kendall not knowing how to cut a cucumber is supposed to be cute/funny but it is so cringey that they’ve been THAT privileged their entire lives that they don’t even know how to cut a fruit/veggie properly.”
