Dolly Parton has done a lot of weird things in her long and successful career as a country artist, but a runway for pets – with famous artists performing? That’s got to top it, right?

However, come February 21 and you get to watch this wonderfully bizarre special on CBS. Who ever said the world of Dolly ain’t a magical one?

Dolly Parton Teams Up With CBS To Present Two Hour Special “Dolly Parton Pet Gala”

On Wednesday, Feb. 21, Dolly Parton will be gracing our screens with a two hour special featuring some of music’s biggest hitmakers performing some of our favorite Dolly songs. We will also be seeing the best in show four-legged cuties gracing the runway.

Okay, okay, here’s the sweet deets. If you didn’t know these furry friends had their own fashion trends, then you need to tune into the special to not only get blown away by Dolly’s most iconic looks, but the embellished looks from Dolly’s Doggy Parton pet line.

To add to the excitement, there will be performances of Dolly’s most-loved classics, including “9 to 5,” “I Will Always Love You,” “Puppy Love” and “Jolene,” with Dolly and country hitmakers Lainey Wilson, Carly Pearce, Chris Janson and KC of KC and the Sunshine Band performing. More guests will be announced at a later date.

Dolly And Jane Lynch Will Co-Host The Show From The Pink Carpet.

“I have hosted or co-hosted many shows throughout my career, but I have never been more excited about co-hosting a show than I am about being part of this pet gala! I love animals.

I’ve got all kinds, and of course, I’ve always had little dogs around, and big ones! We’re going to have some of all kinds and colors on the show, and there is nothing more fun to me than when little animals do what they do best, and I’m looking forward to it! There is so much fun stuff, and I know all the animal lovers out there are going to love this show,” said Dolly.

Alongside watching the best in pet fashion, we will get to see a host of famous faces, including but not limited to “Young Sheldon’s” Iain Armitage, Drew Barrymore, Kristen Bell, Kristin Chenoweth, Margaret Cho, Neil Patrick Harris, Carson Kressley, Jim Nantz, Kelly Osbourne, Jessica Simpson and Rachel Smith appearing alongside their pets.

Parton executive produces “Dolly Parton’s Pet Gala” with Frank Garritano, Danny Nozell and Van Toffler. The special will stream live on Paramount+, with subscribers able to watch it on demand whenever else.
