Just this past week, the First Lady of the United States went on the record to claim that she was not a victim of Jeffrey Epstein, even though there were rumors circulating that she might have possibly been involved in his scandal.

Because Melania doesn’t want her name anywhere near the controversy, let alone her name in the same sentence as Jeffrey Epstein, she was fast to clear her name.

In her statement today, the First Lady said, “The lies linking me with the disgraceful Jeffrey Epstein need to end today.”

“Donald and I were invited to the same parties as Epstein from time to time, since overlapping in social circles is common in New York City.”

Melania continued, “Epstein did not introduce me to Donald Trump. I met my husband by chance. This initial encounter with my husband is documented in my book.”

For Donald Trump, this is the last thing that he wants to see his wife do right now. That’s because he doesn’t want the Jeffrey Epstein scandal to blow up more than it already has.

But for Melania to speak about this so publicly, there’s a very good chance that Donald might have put her on blast behind closed doors.
