Donald Trump Can’t Help Himself, He Loves Being A Wedding Crasher

Donald Trump likes weddings—he really, really likes weddings. As the story goes, in 2010 he was so miffed at not being invited to Chelsea Clinton’s wedding that he tried to crash the party.

Bill and Hillary Clinton were invited to Donald and Melania Trump’s wedding in 2005, and apparently The Donald assumed that he would be on the guest list that included Oprah Winfrey, Steven Spielberg, and Barbra Streisand.

Donald Trump Hit Up Two Bedminster Weddings

In the days leading up to the big event, the former president contacted Doug Band, a top member of the Clinton Foundation, to confirm his invite.

Politico reported that Joe Conason, who wrote “Man of the World: The Further Endeavors of Bill Clinton” that Trump told him “I’m supposed to be at the wedding, Doug” and demanded to know where the venue was.

He wasn’t told, so he then called a second Clinton staffer to get the info, to no avail. Who doesn’t love a wedding?

Donald Trump is so keen on having wedding attendance privileges at his golf club in Bedminster, New Jersey, that he had a written policy in which he was allowed to attend any and all weddings on the property.

Media reports indicate that Trump’s brochure stated that he “will likely stop in & congratulate the happy couple” and may take some pictures with them.

Donald Trump Badmouthed Biden At A Wedding

It’s fair to say that Donald Trump is the main character in any room, and this proved true at John and Megan Arrigo’s March 2021 at Mar-a-Lago.

Not only did he make an appearance, he took the opportunity to diss Joe Biden, after refusing to concede his loss in the 2020 US Presidential election.

Then there was Kristen and Tucker Gladhill’s wedding reception in 2017. When Trump got wind of the big event, he popped in after 10 PM to cheers of “USA! USA! USA!” The bride said it was “an honor to have the person who’s running the free world come show up at our wedding.”

In 2019 Trump had a grand time crashing another wedding at his NJ golf club. He was chuffed to find out that bride Nicole Marie and husband PJ Mongelli chose a décor of American flags and gave specially-made Trump Dollars to their guests. He was made for this!
