Speaking with People, Wahlberg revealed he initially only planned to keep his on-screen costumes: “I took my two Danny Reagan costumes — my blue suit and my dress blues,” he shared. “I put them on mannequins and put them in a Wahlburgers.”
A Special Place For Fans To Celebrate Blue Bloods
But it wasn’t long before he set his sights on something even more iconic: the Reagan family dining table. The table, featured in all 293 episodes, has been a symbol of family unity and heartfelt discussions on the CBS law enforcement drama.
Wahlberg said, “I really had no intention of taking anything from the set until I learned that that table and chairs was just sitting in a warehouse somewhere.”
Wahlberg has grand plans for this beloved piece of television history. The actor intends to rotate the table and chairs among various Wahlburgers locations, starting with the one in St. Charles, Illinois, where he lives with his wife, Jenny McCarthy, 52. “I’ll set it up where fans can sit at the table and take pictures,” Wahlberg explained.
Beyond photo ops, Wahlberg’s vision includes giving back. “I’m going to raffle it probably for charity for the DEA, the Detectives Endowment Association, for the Widows and Children’s Fund,” he said.
This decision reflects Wahlberg’s commitment to both his fans and charitable causes, ensuring the Reagan table continues to foster a sense of community, just as it did on Blue Bloods

Life Beyond Blue Bloods
Though Blue Bloods is coming to an end, Wahlberg’s schedule remains packed. He currently executive-produces and hosts the true-crime docuseries Very Scary People. Still, he often reflects on his journey and shares touching moments with his wife.
In a candid interview, Wahlberg admitted the last time he cried was just two days earlier. “I woke up and was lying next to Jenny and talking about my journey,” he said. “I was just feeling incredibly grateful and started crying. She gave me the biggest hug. It was a sweet moment.”
Despite his Hollywood success, Wahlberg cherishes quiet times with his family. He and Jenny McCarthy often share glimpses of their life together, whether it’s a relaxing day spent shopping or their playful Thanksgiving dance-offs with Jenny’s son, Evan.
As fans gear up for the Blue Bloods finale on December 13, Wahlberg’s heartfelt gesture of preserving the show’s legacy offers a tangible reminder of the series’ enduring impact. Through his thoughtful actions, he ensures the Reagan family table continues to unite people in a new, meaningful way.
