Elizabeth Chambers Focusing On Healing Amid Ex-Husband Armie Hammer’s Scandals

Nearly a year after her separation from Armie Hammer, and months after he became embroiled in controversy, Elizabeth Chambers is choosing to focus on the most important parts of her life.

Chambers addressed a fan’s question on why she’d been quiet on social media recently

Chambers – who ended her decade-long relationship with Armie Hammer- replied to a fan who asked her “Why have you been so quiet on Insta lately?” on a recent Instagram Q&A session, saying “”Focusing on healing, my babes and work,” adding, “ “A lot I’ve wanted to share. But hasn’t felt right atm.”

Alongside the answer, the BIRD Bakery co-founder who shares daughter Harper and son Ford with Hammer, shared an image of herself holding a heart-shaped stone up to the sunlight.

Though Chambers hasn’t said much on the matter of her ex-husband’s scandal she previously issued a public statement referencing the issues

Hammer who has been involved in controversies over unverified graphic DMs allegedly sent by him has also faced claims about his behaviour towards the women in his life. Though Chambers has not said anything on the subject of her ex-husband’s scandal, she issued her first public statement seemingly in reference to the issue in early February via an Instagram post.

The post had read, “For weeks, I’ve been trying to process everything that has transpired. I am shocked, heartbroken, and devastated. Heartbreak aside, I am listening, and will continue to listen and educate myself on these delicate matters. I didn’t realize how much I didn’t know.”

“I support any victim of assault or abuse,” Chambers continued, “and urge anyone who has experienced this pain to seek the help she or he needs to heal. At this time, I will not be commenting further on this matter.”

Similar to her answer at the Q&A session, she had expressed her desire to focus on her children in the post, noting , “My sole focus and attention will continue to be on our children, on my work and on healing during this incredibly difficult time. Thank you for all of the love and support, and thank you in advance for your continued kindness, respect, and consideration for our children and me as we find ways to move forward.”

While Chamber is focusing on the most important aspects of her life, Hammer is dealing with mounting allegations of sexual assault

In January, Hammer who confirmed his exit from Jennifer Lopez’s upcoming rom-com, Shotgun Wedding, fired back at the allegations against him, saying “ “I’m not responding to these bulls–t claims, but in light of the vicious and spurious online attacks against me, I cannot, in good conscience now, leave my children for four months to shoot a film in the Dominican Republic.”

On March 18, a Los Angeles Police Department spokesperson confirmed Hammer is the “main suspect” of an investigation into alleged sexual assault.
