Ellen DeGeneres relocated to the UK recently, and some fans think that the former talk show comedian looks a bit more masculine than she used to. While the LBGTQ+ community sometimes becomes easily offended by such observations, lots of straight people seem interested in learning more about gay relationships.
No Pronouns On Instagram
The comedian who fell from grace after allegations of bullying behavior behind the scenes on her talk show still has many followers who miss her. People can say “her” because DeGeneres never posted any pronouns on social media. Recently, videos and posts by Portia de Rossi’s partner showed her with a cap on.
When Ellen DeGeneres shared about Portia de Rossi on her birthday earlier this month, she wore a black cap that hid a lot of her face. Even when recent video footage emerged, a knitted cap hid the top half of her head. Notably, most of the reels posted on her Instagram are old snippets of the Ellen Show material.

On Valentine’s Day, another photo of Portia de Rossi arrived on Instagram. She sat in a chair with her head on her fist as she leaned into the selfie that Degeneres took. In the foreground, The Ellen Show fans could see that the comedian’s hairstyle looked very short; actually, not dissimilar to Mark Zuckerberg.
While a lot of fans said that they missed the comedian, others gave the couple kudos for setting a loving example. In the caption, DeGeneres wrote, “Deep in thought about our love for one another and it will be forever my love.”
One example of the many replies read, “As much as we LUVD you for Coming Out… we LUV you even more for Letting Us In. All the best!”
More Masculine?

Within the LGBTQ+ community, some folks identify as having no gender. Some TLC fans think that Leon Brown chose to be a nonbinary Agender individual. It’s all quite complicated for those people still learning about gender identity, but as far as fans know, DeGeneres is gay and takes a masculine role in her family life.
It was political activist and journalist, Lauren Luca who asked Ellen DeGeneres, “Omg Ellen did you get …gayer?” Notably, it’s not a trolling question as Luca is also in a same-sex marriage, and on X, formerly Twitter, she labeled herself as “queer.” Perhaps she noticed that the celebrity looked a bit more masculine.
It is possible that DeGeneres became more masculine, and that can be attributed to taking hormone therapy. However, hairstyle and dress can also make people look more like men
According to Crossdreamers in an article titled, When does a woman look like a man? the way people look was discussed: “There are a wide variety of factors that influence the perceived masculinity or the femininity of a face.” So, in the case of Ellen, maybe it’s just that she recently cut her hair very short.
