Gavin Newsom Wants To Take Legal Action Against Elon Musk?

There’s a new report that says the California governor said he doesn’t rule out legal action against Elon Musk for sharing certain memes and videos on X.

The statement came after Newsom signed a bill into law that bans the distribution of “election communications that contain materially deceptive content.”

“You can no longer knowingly distribute an ad or other election communications that contain materially deceptive content,” Newsom previously said on X.

“Governor Gavin Newsom today signed three measures to remove deceptive content from large online platforms, increase accountability, and better inform voters,” Newsom’s office said.

You can bet your bottom dollar that the internet sure did have a lot to say about the matter.

Celeb News: What’s Next For Elon Musk?

Some critics commented with, “Is it about memes? I thought it was about maliciously created Ai videos – showing politicians saying things they never said?”

“He just opened the floodgates to be the butt of every joke, meme, and video that’s about to come his way. Talk about a backfire.”

Another critic wrote, “Memes are illegal but illegals can vote. Doesn’t make sense.”

“The left will constantly call Trump a threat to democracy while they openly advocate for ideas that are anti-Constitutional – such as going after people or organizations for speech they dislike.”

And then there was this comment as well: “What a shameful human being Newsom is. He has the gaul to prioritize these petty AI memes while businesses are being looted relentlessly and leaving the state.”

So far Elon Musk himself has not made any comments about the matter but there’s no doubt that he’s probably working on a meme that he’s going to post on social media sooner rather than later.
