Emily In Paris Star Lily Collins Shares the Inspiration Behind Her New Hair Look In Season Three

Hollywood news and updates tease that Lily Collins talked about her new hair look in the upcoming season of her Netflix hit series, “Emily in Paris.”

Lily Collins was introduced to the big screen when she joined the cast of “The Blind Side,” in which she co-starred with the Hollywood icon, Sandra Bullock. She then rose to fame when she got the lead role in the movie, “Mirror Mirror.” Collins also had a Netflix hit movie titled “Windfall,” which was directed by her husband, Charlie McDowell.

The actress first landed on the online movie platform when she starred in the comedy-drama series, “Emily in Paris.” The story follows a girl who is hired to share an American perspective in a marketing firm in Paris.

During the release of the third season’s teaser, “Emily in Paris” showed a different hair look of its lead character, Emily Cooper. In her latest interview with ET, Lily Collins shared how the series come up with her new hairstyle. The actress revealed that she had her bangs cut during the press tour of the previous season. When the director, Andy Fleming, asked her if she wanted to keep her hair, Collins got excited with the idea.

The “Abduction” star shared that her personal change inspired Emily Cooper’s new look. “It’s got to happen, and we’re going to make it part of the storyline because as I can attest to, I have changed my hair when I felt like I’ve changed my life and it felt like the perfect opportunity,” Collins stated. She also believed that it was Emily’s perfect time to change her hair as she has encountered massive changes in her life since the stepped foot in Paris.

In other news, the 33-year-old actress opened up about her character’s fashion style in the upcoming season. During the screening of the third season, Lily Collins shared her gladness as she gained a lot of positive responses when her character gracefully carried the French style.

Moreover, she revealed that Emily Cooper will dress more French as she gets inspiration from her friends and colleagues. “She’s still bright, bold, and all the things I love about Emily, but it’s a little more pared down and sophisticated,” Collins told Women’s Wear Daily.

“Emily in Paris” Season 3 airs on Netflix on December 21.
