Season 2 called for its finale showing Zendaya’s character, Rue, alongside those who have witnessed her addiction and her life in rehab. Though she mentioned that the series ended positively, a character was not lucky enough to make it to the end.
Sydney Sweeney and Maude Apatow, who played Cassie and Lexi respectively, also shared how their characters went, and they pointed out how complicated their storyline has gone through Season 2. Meanwhile, Eric Dane, who played Cal in the series, mentioned his character’s biggest regret in the season, especially the storyline involving his onscreen son, Nate, played by Jacob Elordi.
Zendaya News – Sees Hope In Her Character Rue
The 25-year-old actress talked about how painful her character was throughout the season. However, she has seen some hope thinking that Rue must overcome all the pain and struggle she has experienced. “There has to be some hope at the end of this. Something beautiful at the end of all this pain,” Zendaya said.
Zendaya also mentioned that giving hope to her character is “what the world needs,” and she wanted the avid viewers to see how Rue can stand following all the downfalls she has to bear.
In her latest Instagram post, Zendaya shared a mirror selfie with her castmates, Angus Cloud and Maude Apatow, while they were on the set of Euphoria. She wrote: “It’s been a long but beautiful road, last Euphoria day for a while… we hope you enjoy it.”
Zendaya News – Shows Support To Tom Holland’s New Movie ‘Uncharted’
In other news, Zendaya posted on one of her Instagram stories a boomerang showing movie tickets of her boyfriend’s latest movie, Uncharted, with a caption, “Wooop wooop.”
Since the two announced their romance to the public, their support for each other has become more evident, especially on social media. Just last month, Zendaya and Tom Holland were captured hand in hand as they attended Uncharted’s screening in New York City.
They have also brought their love internationally when they dine at the Antica Pesa in Rome. As per E! News, Zendaya enjoyed the simple spaghetti with tomato sauce, while her boyfriend had the classic cacio e pepe.
Though the couple has often been seen in public lately, Tom recently shared how some people “robbed” their privacy when a photo of them kissing in a car was posted online. “I’ve always been really adamant to keep my private life private because I share so much of my life with the world anyway. We sort of felt robbed of our privacy,” he told GQ.
