Eva Mendes Confirms Ryan Gosling Is Her “Husband” Amid Marriage Speculation

Eva Mendes has kept her fans guessing if she has tied the knot secretly with her partner of 11 years Ryan Gosling. The duo met on set while filming “The Place Beyond the Pines” a movie where they both played parents to an infant boy.

Since their relationship, both Eva, 48, and Ryan, 42, have done their best to keep their relationship out of the public eye. You can hardly know if the couple have issues or not. What we know is what they allow us to know. For example, we know they have two daughters together, Esmeralda, 8, and Amada, 6.

The marriage speculation between the two stars began after Eva debuted a beautiful tattoo on her hand. The tattoo reads “De Gosling” which if translated, means “Of Gosling”. Fans began to go wild with a secret marriage speculation between the two.

In an appearance at “Kyle and Jackie O Show,” fill-in co-host Brittany Hockley asked the “Hitch” actress about the tattoo. Brittany asked, “There’s a rumor that you guys might have secretly tied the knot. Is that true?”

Eva replied “But who says we weren’t already I like to keep it all mysterious. I’m a very mysterious woman?” Before going on to joke, “I do have a tattoo, It’s just a press-on… no, it’s not a press-on. But I got it years ago. I posted a picture and I’ve gotten a lot of funny questions.”

Two days later, Eva made another appearance on Channel Nine’s “Today” where she went to promote the charity work she’s doing in Australia (Ryan was also filming “The Fall Guy” in the country). There, Eva released another pointer about her marriage to “The Grey Man” actor Ryan.

Eva told hosts Karl Stefanovic and Allison Langdon, “I’m loving it here. Everyone is so welcoming here and my husband Ryan and our children are here and we are having the best time.”

Speaking with Daily Mail, the star of “Fast and Furious” revealed how Ryan and she are on the same page when it comes to being parents to their kids.

Eva said, “I’m sure just because we have our own, like we’re our own person and then we come with our own strengths and stuff, but we’re pretty much on the same terms, on like how we parent, so it’s pretty cool.”

“I know someone earlier said, ‘Who’s good cop? Who’s bad cop?’ I’m like, there is none. I have never thought of it that way. We like to talk it all out with the kids. We like to make them feel like they have a voice and that they’re heard, you know?”

Speaking with PEOPLE back in May, Eva revealed how she and Ryan share the chores, “Ryan’s the cook. He’s an incredible cook, I think that there’s a really nice balance to ‘you cook, I clean.’ And it just works for us.”
