Kanye West news reveals that many people made a mistake when they chose to emulate Kanye West via tattoo ink and now a London-based tattoo removal studio is obliging the disgruntled masses. Read on and we’ll give you the skinny.
Kanye West – Everyone Deserves Second chance
Kanye West news reveals that, though everyone knows Kanye can be a little off his rocker, his recent antisemitic comments and seeming affinity for Nazi sympathizers have made it so most can no longer overlook it.
Sure, as Hello Giggles puts it, everyone deserves a second chance. But we’re not talking about Kanye West who’s had many. We’re talking about those fans who were so diehard they got Kanye tattoos on their bodies. They deserve a second chance. At least one tattoo removal studio is obliging, and they’re doing it for free.
Kanye West – Headlines For All the Wrong Reasons
Large numbers of fans and businesses, including Adidas, have severed ties to the rapper and former fashion mogul after he sported a White Lives Matter sweatshirt at Paris Fashion Week and then continued his antisemitic behavior on social media. They’re fed up.
“When you have a tattoo inspired by someone you admire and they start making headlines for all the wrong reasons, it’s not exactly something you want to wear on your sleeve that you are or were a fan,” NAAMA CEO Briony Garbett told CNN recently.
“With that in mind, we wanted to come to the aid of those who are embarrassed about their Kanye West-inspired tattoos and are offering complimentary treatment for all UK fans that want them removed,” she continued.
Kanye West – NAAMA’s Initiative Draws Global Applause
As a result of the public demand, NAAMA Studios launched a Kanye West tattoo removal initiative — a subgroup of NAAMA’s Second Chances project that offers the removal of triggering and unwanted tattoos, like gang or hate-related tattoos, free of charge.
Garbett explained that the group understands that “tattoos can be triggering for some people and not everyone can afford to remove their tattoos.” Since announcing the initiative via Instagram in November NAAMA has been flooded with interest – globally.
In fact, it appears that NAAMA may have plans to open up in the US. The former Ye fans have already taken advantage of the studio’s free Kanye West tattoo removal initiative and many others have booked consultations.
Kanye West – Yeezy Come, Yeezy Go
The studio’s Instagram post advertising the initiative reads, simply, “Yeezy come, Yeezy go. Got a Kanye West Tatoo? Tag us.” Followers on the page called the initiative “Golden” and wrote, “Give your marketer a raise. This is hilarious,” while a couple seemed offended by the move by the studio.
