Ezra Miller Has Been Spotted At LAX Airport After Pleading Guilty to Unlawful Trespassing

Star of “The Flash” Ezra Miller who is binary and has chosen to be addressed as They/Them was spotted at Los Angeles International Airport on Monday, January 16, exactly three days after they pled guilty to felony burglary on Friday, January 13.

The actor was photographed spotting an animal print t-shirt, red blazer, black pants, black boots, black woolen hat, tinted shades, a backpack, and a mini bag filled with unknown items in their hand. In another photograph, Miller was seen having something that looked like a hand-wrapped cigarette in their mouth.

Ezra Miller — On Millers Change-Of-Plea Agreement

Miller narrowly escaped jail time by pleading guilty to a May 1, 2022 theft. In August, the 30-year-old actor was charged with felony burglary by the Vermont Police for entering their unoccupied neighbor’s house in a Southern Vermont home.

Miller claimed that they were at the house in search of ingredients for their mother’s cooking recipe, meanwhile, according to the statement made by the Vermont State Police, “The initial findings indicated that several bottles of alcohol were taken from within the residence while the homeowners were not present.”

The statement also reads, “As a result of an investigation that included surveillance videos and statements, probable cause was found to charge Ezra M. Miller with the offense of felony burglary in an unoccupied dwelling.”

In October, Miller pleaded not guilty to charges of unlawful trespassing, two charges of burglary to an unoccupied dwelling, and petit larceny for allegedly breaking into a Vermont home and stealing three bottles of alcohol (gin, vodka, and rum).

Last week Friday, the actor appeared in Vermont Superior Court in black apparel and pled guilty to “misdemeanor unlawful trespassing.” According to the plea deal which was reviewed by Judge Kerry Ann McDonald-Cady, Miller would be placed on a one-year probation, and they would also pay a fine of $500 plus a $192 surcharge.

After they had pled guilty, the two other charges were dropped. Miller agreed to adhere to the conditions of the plea deal which requires them to completely avoid the victim, continue with their mental health treatment, go for random alcohol checkups, not be convicted of a criminal offense, etc.

According to the prosecutor, the agreement “has the benefit of ensuring the compliance with the conditions, which protect the victim, but it also allows the defendant to continue their employment as well as continue the mental health treatment. So, given all that, the victim is in support of the agreement.”

On Miller’s agreement to the terms and conditions of the plea deal, Judge McDonald-Cady asked the actor if anyone had forced them into accepting the deal but, they replied in the negative. They also went ahead to say that they’re not going under the influence so their decision came from a sound mind.

After judge McDonald-Cady had reviewed the conditions, she stated, “I do find they strike the balance of both your rehabilitation and continue to make sure that you’re a healthy citizen and also a punishment factor here, so I do find this an appropriate sentence and in the interest of justice”

That same Friday, Miller’s attorney Lisa Shelkrot said in a statement, “Ezra Miller pled guilty this morning to a misdemeanor unlawful trespass in Vermont Superior Court and accepted the conditions imposed by the court.”

The statement continues, “Ezra would like to thank the court and the community for their trust and patience throughout this process. They would once again like to acknowledge the love and support they have received from their family and friends, who continue to be a vital presence in their ongoing mental health.”
