Eminem’s fans are not happy with Google already listing the rapper’s death. And while many fake celebrity deaths have trended over the years, this one was unique in that it actually predicted the day the rapper would die.

Like a bad joke, social media users noticed on Saturday that Eminem, whose real name is Marshall Mathers, is going to die the following day on Sunday, Dec. 10, 2023. This did not sit well with fans of the rapper.

The user who discovered this shared, “WHY IS EMINEM DEAD TOMORROW WHAT THE F-.” The tweet quickly went viral, with others joining in to wonder how this might have happened.

While some felt it was a prank, some wondered whether it could be a threat of some kind to the rapper.

However, this bizzare news was quickly put right when multiple outlets reported that the rapper was alright and well.

No, it’s not a drill. Eminem fans are angry for a just reason. They are only reacting to a viral news that Eminem is dead.

“People who do this need to be locked up or fined,” one fan wrote angrily.

While very few tended to believe it for a second, others knew from the onset that this was a hoax and said so.

As for the reason Google listed Eminem’s date of death, it’s because Wikipedia carried the date on the “Venom” rapper’s profile. This made fans question the authenticity of the information shared on Wikipedia

“In College I was not allowed to use Wikipedia as a source in any class because it was unreliable. Maybe Google should not use Wikipedia as it’s only source when deciding what people see. Seems obvious to me,” one social media user wrote.

In fact, this prank is spreading to even more celebrities, with rapper Bia being the next.
